Ten organizations and projects involved in a range of technologies have been selected to receive part of $7.25 million in grants from the Maine Technology Institute, through the Maine Technology Asset Fund.
The grants represent a third round of MTAF awards, and will be matched by more than $13 million in additional funds.
Betsy Biemann, president of Maine Technology Institute, said, “These awards recognize the work of the innovative businesses and research organizations across Maine that have applied for these highly competitive funds, leveraging their awards with private investment and Federal grants, and collaborating, often across sectors, to develop new technologies and economic activity.”
